The Department is well-prepared to provide the following services:

General Services:

  • Medical and nursing cares

  • Hygienic services including giving bath to the unconscious patients or the ones using the ventilators
  • Diagnostic services
  • Mechanical ventilation
  • NIV Service
  • Advance monitoring


 

Special Services:

  • Nursing services to the patients suffering respiratory disorders
  • Applying the ventilators to patients who needed
  • Conducting the bronchoscopy, where required
  • apply hemodialysis machines to dialyze the blood, as mandated by ICU
  • Providing portable radiology, ultrasound, and echocardiography machines
  • Providing portable ventilators to relocate the patients
  • Nutritional consult of ICU patients
  • Speaking with families of patients to provide information about medical news by nurses and physicians
  • 2 isolated rooms with positive & negative pressure

  • ICU : ICU sub-specialized physicians on pulmonary medicine (intensive care) for management of patient
  • Anesthesia Specialists
  • ICU: ICU well-trained nurses
  • Nutrition consultants

Working Hours of Department and Physicians’ Shifts:

The Department is in operation in a 24 hour manner. The following time table represents when the physicians and specialists are available:








Medical Staff Working Hours
pulmonologist intensivist 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Anesthesia team Over 24 hrs.
Internal medicine specialists 2 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Anesthesia specialists Over 24 hrs.
